Dear Parents and Community Members,
You will recall that we were all surprised by a late spring snowstorm that caused us to postpone our Community Meeting on May 18th.   We have rescheduled the Community Meeting for Thursday, June 15, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at Roosevelt High School.  During this meeting, we will be discussing topics related to our recent perception survey and facility needs assessments, as well as possible new construction in the district.

The presentation at the Community Meeting will show that most of our schools require millions of dollars in facility repairs.  While growth has virtually stopped in our community, and previous renovations and additions have added enough capacity to our buildings to accommodate our current enrollment, within the next five years we may be facing an over-capacity situation at the high school.   It's time to start planning for the future.

We hope to see you next Thursday, June 15th at our Community meeting.

Sincerely,
Marty Foster
Superintendent of Schools
