Waste Management Trash Collection

Milliken's refuse and recycling pickup is provided by Waste Management.  We have an automated pick up system, utilizing rolling polycarts for all homes in the Town of Milliken.  Every resident is provided with the use of a 96-gallon wheeled Polycart, if you are a household of 2 or less please contact the Town for information on other options. Fees for extra bags and/or the rental of an additional Polycart will need to be pre-paid with Waste Management; these fees are not included on your monthly bill from the Town.

All containers placed out for collection day, must be placed on the curb in front of your home or on the edge of pavement where no curb exists in order to be collected.  All Polycarts and recycle bins must be placed out for collection no later than 7:00 a.m. and removed by 8:00 p.m. on your scheduled collection day. Milliken's scheduled collection day is Monday.

Place your recycle bin next to your Polycart, and a recycle truck will collect your recyclables. Recycle service is provided every other week on your normal refuse collection day.  Please contact town hall at 970-587-4331 to arrange delivery of your recycle bin. 

The collection day will be delayed one day during the following holidays; New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, your collection day will not change.
