The Weld County Communications Center (WCRCC), is reminding those citizens that have signed up for the CodeRED emergency alerts system to be sure and upgrade information to receive alerts. Please be sure and read the text and or the message to the end.
You can sign up by either going to the Police Department page on the website and click the CodeRed icon or go to the Weld County Govt. website, weld911 alert.com and sign up there, it's quick and simple.

All residents and businesses are encouraged to go to weld911alert.com, and update your contact information. 

Weld County Residents can also sign up for CodeRED Weather Warning, an automatic severe weather notification service, to alert citizens in the path of severe thunderstorms, flash floods and tornados, if they did not do so last year.

If you did not sign up for CodeRED, there is no direct charge for this service, and at sign up you may select which types of warnings you’d like to receive.

If you know of anyone who did not receive this call who lives in Weld County, please encourage them to visit weld911alert.com to enter their information.

If you have no internet access, please contact a friend or family member to help add your contact information to the emergency database. You can also call the Weld County Regional Communications Center directly at 970-356-4000, Extension 2899 for assistance.
