Milliken residents have celebrated the Town's agricultural history since 1924, when the first agricultural festival was planned. Apparently the event began when a local Presbyterian minister decided to hold a Town Picnic, and two years later in 1926, the Town held the first official festival, calling it Bean Day.  In 1983, when a local feed lot producer, donated beef, which was cooked under ground at Lola Park, the event then became known as Beef 'N Bean Day.

The event is still running strong on the Second Saturday of August and includes everything from a Fireman's Pancake Breakfast, to Parades, Vendors, Live Music, Fireworks and MORE!
