Project Overview
The Colorado Department of Transportation has awarded a contract to Mountain Constructors, Inc. of Platteville to perform permanent repairs on the bridge on SH 257 for damage that was caused during the flood in September 2013.
The project will provide permanent repairs to both bridge abutments. Work on this project consists of removing and replacing the abutment backfill, new guardrail, placement of riprap and paving the driving surface.
The permanent repairs to this busy section of SH 257 will ensure the structural safety of the bridge and improve safety with the new guardrail.
