Milliken Population & Crime Statistics Milliken Police Department (M.P.D.) staff has compiled crime statistics based on data collected by M.P.D. and the Greeley-Weld Records who prepare and maintain police reports for M.P.D. under contract. The majority of the following graphs contain information for the years 2002 to 2006, except the graph with Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) statistics for which 2006 information was not yet available. The blue coloring in the background of each graph represents the population of the Town of Milliken. A legend at the bottom of each graph then explains what each statistic and color depicts.
 This graph is representative of misdemeanor and felony arrests.
 This graph shows DUI arrests in Milliken fluctuate each year. One factor is the level of officer overtime grant funds obtained by the Police Department from the Colorado Department of Transportation for dedicated DUI enforcement under the Heat is On program.  Traffic safety is a major community concern, so traffic education and enforcement remains a priority for the Police Department.   The Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Index Crimes consist of eight aggregated Part I crimes, which include the violent crimes of murder and non-negligent manslaughter, forcible rape, robbery, and aggravated assault, and four property crime categories to include burglary, larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft, and arson. These overall Index Crime statistics are for 2001-2005, with 2006 statistics not yet available. Each year is listed below with types of Part I crimes broken down. The graph suggests that crime in Milliken appears to roughly track the population increase of the community. Bear in mind though that the predominant Part I crime reported in Milliken is larceny or theft which are probably less reliable indicators of crime trends. Violent crime is rare in Milliken.
