NOTICE OF BOARD VACANCY
The Board of Trustees is in need of appointing a replacement to fill the seat vacated by Trustee Ted Chavez. Applications are available from the Town Clerk's Office and need to be submitted by November 13, 2013. All registered electors having resided in the Town of Milliken for 12 consecutive months prior to appointment ar eligible to serve as a Board of Trustee member.

BOARD & COMMISSION APPLICATION
The deadline to register with FEMA is November 30th.

FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) can be reached at 1-800-621-3362, all residents who have been affected need to register with FEMA. This includes personal damage, crop and livestock loss.
Community Announcements will be made at 4 pm at Town Hall each day until further notice. A question box is located at the front window. All questions will be answered at the 4 pm meeting.
A Milliken Flood Relief Fund has been established for assistance to either local families affected by the Flood or for Town recovery efforts.
Citizens beware of all contractors who may offer assistance. Contact Town Hall to verify if the contractor has been licensed with the Town. Licensure with the Town is required for all contractors.
Weld County has established an Assessment Center at Greeley's Island Grove Park. The services that the Town is aware that will be provided at these assessment centers are: Red Cross, United Way, Social Service, North Range Behavioral and the Health Department. We have been told that the Centers will be available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We will do our best to keep this information up-to-date.
SAFEbuilt (the Town's Building Inspection Service) will continue assessment of structures.
The Town of Milliken is accepting applications for 3 vacancies on the Milliken Housing Authority.
This position is appointed by the Board of Trustees.
